At Landscape Design Studio, we employ people who have a passion within their respective area of expertise. Putting each team member in a position to succeed has always been at the forefront for Landscape Design Studio. We throw the handbook out the window and challenge ourselves to find all the unique strengths and weaknesses of our team members and develop those to their highest potential.
Nelson Byrd
Owner
Nelson got his start with the renowned Southern Land Company, based in Franklin, Tennessee. While there, Nelson won the Sizzle Award for Best Overall Design for his work on country star Kenny Chesney’s home. In 2011, he returned to Mississippi to launch his business. His work has been featured in several publications, including Mississippi Magazine, Stages Magazine and Mississippi Gardener.
Nelson loves grilling with family and friends, all things competitive and traveling. Nelson, his wife Wendy, their son Shelton and daughters Mahaley and Ellis call Madison, Mississippi home.
Nick Berry
Project Manager
Nick is our renaissance guy at Landscape Design Studio, a true jack of all trades. Nick has both a degree in Landscape Architecture and Landscape Contracting, which has proven to be his greatest asset. Understanding both the level of details provided within our designs and the knowledge of how to construct them.
Nick is an avid outdoorsman. He loves both fishing and hunting. Nick, his wife Ashley and their daughter Nora Grace call Raymond, MS their home.
